The LAND Project is committed to knowledge sharing and co-learning across cultural and political lines.  To-date, we have hosted six African leaders (from Kenya, Uganda, and South Africa) at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, trailblazers who furnished Madison students, faculty, and community members with expertise and anecdotes rooted in their on-the-ground, real-world experiences in community-driven agricultural development.  After sharing with Madison residents at a University-hosted symposiums, our exchange guests also benefited from the abundance of agricultural knowledge housed in the state of Wisconsin through farm-tours and interactive activities.

The LAND Project seeks to foster cross-cultural exchange between professionals, scholars, and students alike.  We are still in the process of developing a consistent and sustainable means for such exchanges.  If you are interested in participating or getting involved, please do not hesitate to contact us.
